First coat is on the chair, it's cold out here, time to get inside and bring the chair inside. I should be able to paint the 2nd coat on inside !

It didn't really work to sand inside as I don't have a good studio space for that, so while the sun is shining I'll bundle up and get to work !  It's a little nippy outside, but the sun is great and as long as I keep moving...

And then there's the issue of the seat, there really wasn't any support in the center.  It didn't occur to me to sit in the chair when I picked it up.  Now there's some support for your seat on the seat!

]]> <![CDATA[Sanding]]> Mon, 13 Jan 2014 11:24:00 GMT The chair is going to get freshened up quite abit. With a new seat and fresh paint. Here are some snaps as I start. 

 

Removing the seat from the chair wasn't so hard, only 2 of the 4 screws were actually holding.

There were certainly alot of staples and a few carpet tacks holding that fabric in place !
